Un vendredi d'octobre en short

Went to check out the new H&M store on the Champs-Elysées. Didn't like it at all, way too dark and the space arrangement makes the store very cold. Anyway, I did use their fitting room for a shot of what I was wearing.

Weather forecast predicted a sunny and very warm day so I decided to wear my tweed brown shorts (Zara) from last year, but for the ever windy Champs-Elysées avenue I thought best to add my new Zara trench and a light cotton plaid scarf (H&M), though as the heat rised quickly I found myself in grey sweater (H&M). The heeled desert boots are a bit tough (Creeks André) to keep the look sporty and down to earth.

Later, checked the LV and Edun exhibit Africa Rising and caught "Eat, Pray, Love" which left me starving for delicious food but apart from Viola and Julia, okay and Javier the movie is like a nice and very (unecesseraly) long postcard.

Thanks Emmy! That's exactly what I aimed for: cute week-end look.

Love the look, especially the plaid scarf - such a nice accent.

I loved Andre for affordable shoes when I was in France - I had a pair of ballet flats I wore for almost 3 years before they gave out. Impressive!

Thanks a lot Lin! You know me and my love of scarves... It was the only one left and as soon as I spotted it, I had all these outfit association playing in my mind! Had to get it!

André has stepped up its game lately and I actually bought 3 pair of shoes (with a discount coupon but, yeah, 3 nonetheless) there in the past couple of weeks...It's not exactly as cheap as it used to be but the quality and design ratio makes it worth the buy.
