Window Shopping...Literally

Last Saturday, I droped by the boulevard Haussmann.

While checking the new windows at the Galeries Lafayette, I stopped right in front of this one displaying wedge boots that, at first sight, I took for Surface 2 Air.

Though sharing certain "similarities"and being sold very next to the Surface 2 Air shoes (!), these are from the department store's own brand, not as high and are much cheaper.

Wedge boots: off the list!

I took these pics from the bus back window. After a very quiet morning at the office, I took the bus to run a few errands in the city. August is so nice when most Parisians are out of town.
The city slows down and you can really enjoy the beauty around you.

Isn't it funny that Kate is rumored to be dancing with Baryshnikov and that her YSL ad is plastered over the Opéra !

On another level, Coco Rocha is at one of the front of the famous department store.

I have to take pics of the new Printemps fronts which are much more glamourous than all those Coca-cola ads!
