Despite the fact that I always left the Uniqlo store empty handed, I did a little browsing on their website.  

Here's my selection of basic bottoms and sweaters. I like what I see. Will make a reality check soon.

A thin line between love and hate

Last Saturday, I was at the Printemps checking the promotions when I spotted my jacket with a 30% discount.
I was MAD.
So mad I swore I was done with anything Marant this season and it was not that hard really. Lately, the stock wether from the main line or Etoile, in boutique or on the net, left me completely indifferent. 

Then today, out of boredom I browsed Metier and found these :

The coat is nothing I was aiming for or even envisioned though it has the duffle coat shape that I'm looking for. The color, bouclé material, contrasting piping, the leather trim and the hood... Everything looks appealing...One more contender for the new Winter coat...

As for the dress, it's the perfect week-end dress. I love the wrapping and asymmetry and the muted violet plaid... I can already see how it'd fit with the rest of my wardrobe...

The fast is over

No internet at home induced a hiatus in blogging which was at first irritating then turned out to be unexpectedly restful.

This past Saturday shop browsing outftit was meant to be comfy and warm because of the crazy weather.

I brought back the Isabel Marant sweatpants, added a black woollen hoodie from last winter by H&M, beloved years old Gap motorcycle boots and to twist it all, put on this new plaid jacket (Divided H&M) and Vanessa Bruno sequins tote.

I made 2 purchases at Zara yesterday: a pleated black skirt and a mohair knit.

L'objet du délit

I've reached a decision. I'll return it. I think when seeing it I caught some strange fever which made me porous to all that hype mixed with scarcity feeling. Because if I'm honest

a) I don't need it
b) It's lovely but leaves me indifferent now that it's in my possession.
