Cold necessities

Eric Bompard

I've wanted long gloves for a long time. I just couldn't find simple knitted ones. COS had some in grey cashmere but they were too loose.
A few weeks ago, I received Eric Bompard's Fall Winter catalogue, I spotted those which are exactly what I wanted. Today, I decided to purchase them in black. Pure cashmere, perfect to keep hands warm. I'd like to get them another pair, maybe in red...

Next purchase: cashmere socks... They're the perfect remedy to cold feet.

I've been thinking about getting a long pair of leather gloves, but something is stopping me. I think I'd much prefer cashmere for the warmth and softness. These are lovely.

ah, can't get enough of cashmere. keep an eye out for Ilux socks (i think it's a Canadian company?) very comfy, because there are no seams at the toe. i'm pretty sure Oprah had them on her Christmas list one time, and around here her word is gold so that's all you need to know. lol.

Thanks Stephanie. I felt the same about long leather gloves, whenever I tried them, it felt off though I like the look of it.

I get you Koko! Once you tried cashmere, you can't go back. The cold Winter day when I tried cashmere socks was a revelation!

I would REALLY love a beautifully long pair of knit gloves...how much were these cashmere ones? I'm dying for a pair of dark purple gloves, but I'm afraid I will not want to spend the money!

Erin: They cost 48 euros. I had never spent that much money on gloves, even leather ones, that's why I hesitated for awhile before getting them!

What made me go through with the purchase is that I recounted all the h&m gloves I bought over last Winter that were ripped after just a week of wear and still left my fingers numbed by cold.

The ones at COS are a few euros cheaper around 40 euros if I remember right.
